Monsanto is an american multinational corporation founded in the early 1900's by John Francis Queeny. It's no coincidence that he was a veteran of the pharmaceutical industry.

Monsanto and the people that govern it hide behind the classification of multinational corporations and political labels in order to implement their desired agenda. Why on Earth is our food being manufactured by the largest pesticide company in the world? Food is supposed to give us health and nourishment, but today our food contains toxins that are without question a major threat to our health. Toxic chemicals are added to our food supply simply through production, harmful pesticide residue and genetic engineering of seeds and crops. Even food packaging can be a source of toxins in food. Why are we allowing poisonous and toxic chemicals to enter into our food supply? What type of corporation would try to persuade the population that it is a good thing? Monsanto would, it's no coincidence that the food, pharmaceutical and medical industries are so well connected.

Susan Frank officially adopted three sibling boys that have been in her care for the last two years. Frank has five adopted children, a biological daughter, and is a guardian to two other children. They range in age from 11 to 28.

The boys' biological mother lost custody years ago. Their father, who lives outside the United States, calls them often and gave his blessing for the adoption. "It made things very easy," Frank said. Frank, a construction worker who focuses on interiors, has been a foster mother to more than 100 children in the past two decades.

An Edmonton foster mother convicted of manslaughter in the death of a child in her care was sentenced Thursday to three years in prison.

A jury convicted the woman, 34, in November. She cannot be named under Alberta child protection legislation in order to protect the identity of the child, who also cannot be named. The toddler died in January 2007 of a massive brain injury sustained when his skull hit part of a toilet bowl.

New York attorney general Andrew Cuomo told reporters at a press conference in Manhattan this morning that 2,782 Facebook accounts and 1,796 MySpace accounts had been shut down in compliance with a 2008 New York State law.

But 3,500 accounts is only a start. To put the sweep in scope, New York state has more than 30,000 registered sex offenders, of whom 8,106 have registered their online info. Yet New York's population only makes up 6 percent of the total United States.

San Marcos -- Sara Amaya was sentenced to 30 years in jail on Friday after pleading guilty to 14 counts of child abuse.

The action marks the prosecutorial end of what investigators called the "worst case of child abuse" they had encountered and came just more than a month after Hays County jurors sentenced her former husband, Cesar Mojica, to 14 life terms.

Nearly 400 children have been removed from Arizona homes identified through thousands of child abuse and neglect reports that were ignored in recent years.

The findings are from a team reviewing more than 6,500 reports that the state's Child Protective Services agency failed to investigate over the past four years. They show just how badly the state's child welfare authorities botched their reviews of incoming calls to an abuse hotline.
