Grandchild Stolen

My family has been torn apart.

On December 9th, 2004 my son and his wife were living in our pool house and their 3-year-old daughter was living in the main house with my husband and I. My daughter-in-law is on probation and they came to do a probation check on her, only to found her and my son under the influence.

At that time I tried to explain that the baby lived in the main house with us. No one would listen, even when they came and found the baby in the main house. I took the CPS worker to her room and showed him her clothes and toys I also explained that she was covered by my medical insurance through my work.

As a pre-placement screening, I was fingerprinted, now they say I will not even be considered because my husband has a drug case pending from 2 years ago.

I have a clean record and even offered to move but when I did, they came up with more excuses why I could not be considered for placement of my granddaughter.

I feel like a part of me is missing. My granddaughter has been with me since birth and now they say I have no rights.

Please give me some advice.

Thank you,
Michelle
